Videos - subtitles

Upload/generate subtitles to your videos from Dashboard. Possible on existing videos as well as ongoing/new videos.



There´re TWO ways of doing it:

  1. Auto-generate subtitles for the same language spoken in the video, English --> English.
  2. Manually upload subtitle file, .srt eller .vtt-fil. (Manually requires a separate tool for generering the fil itself). Subtitle does not have to be same language as spoken in video. You can add multiple subtitels for the same video.


How-to: New video


  1. Dashboard --> Content --> Videos --> Upload new video.
  2. In step 1 in the creation phase, decide if a) manually upload subtitles (requires separate tool for the files) or b) auto-generate subtitle (same language most be spoken as the video).


  1. Proceed your general video uploading process. Step 1-3.
  2. DONE! In the videoplayer users can now enable/disable subtitles.



How-to: Existing video(s)

  1. Dashboard --> Content --> Videos --> Select required video.
  2. Press the tab Subtitles:


  1. Press Create new subtitle:


  1. Choose whether you want to auto-generate subtitles or upload them manually.


  1. Press Create subtitle --> Done!


Users will now be able to enable/disable subtitles in the videoplayer, bottom right corner.


If you want to offer multiple language options for subtitles, manual upload is required.
