Staylive Streaming Engine 2.0: platform migration this month

We’re upgrading all platforms to Staylive Streaming Engine 2.0 by the end of September for higher stability and reliability during live events.

What changes (for livestreams)

• New RTMP URL
• New Stream Key
• SRT option (for encoders that support SRT): SRT URL, Stream Key, and SRT Passphrase

You’ll see these on each event’s Streaming details in the Dashboard once your platform is migrated.

Already migrated?

Some platforms are already on 2.0. If you see the new fields (including SRT) in Streaming details, you’re all set; no action needed.

After migration

1. Open Streaming details for your next event.
2. Update the RTMP URL and Stream Key in your encoder (or switch to SRT if supported).
3. Do a quick test stream before going live.

Once migrated, the old RTMP endpoint will not accept new connections.
