Playlists
Playlists are created to sort and display selected videos in a specific order on the platform. A playlist can be added to any subpage on the platform and can be added to all video components, content row, vertical content feed.
When you play a video in the playlist, you are taken to the overview where all the videos are listed and you can choose which clip to watch. All videos in the playlist will be played one after the other.
Playlists are available for platform owners and platform administrators
Collect selected clips belonging to the same program in a playlist.
Select the order in which the video clips are played, e.g. episodes 1 - 5.
Display your playlist directly in a content row, to follow any other design on the platform.
Create buttons to link to your different playlists/programs.
The availability of the video follows the settings of the video with pricing and geo-blocking. Changes made to the video will also affect the playlist.
A playlist can only display video clips.
For best user-friendliness, it is recommended to include the videos in the playlist in the same package/subscription.
Playlists contain selected videos uploaded on the platform (content - videos).
Create the playlist under content - playlists. If it is the first time a playlist is created on the platform, the system will ask to generate a specific page for playlists. This is so that they can be displayed on the platform. Press generate.
Press create playlist
Fill in the name, description and add a thumbnail / image that will appear along with your playlist.
Press create.
All playlists available on the platform will be listed in the overview, which also shows the number of clips added to the playlist. You then choose on the platform which playlists will be visible.
Click on your playlist to edit it and add the content to be displayed.
Press add video clip.
Select one or more videos from your library on the platform. the video needs to be uploaded on the platform to be eligible.
The selected videos are now added to the playlist, in the order in which they were added. You have the option to change the order of the videos by pressing change order and clicking the videos in the order you want, then save order. It is also possible to remove a video clip from the playlist.
The video clip at the top of the list will be the one that appears first in the playlist.
A playlist can be displayed in a content row or as a link to the playlist page from e.g. a button.
Select the subpage where the playlist will be displayed.
Press add new section - content - content row.
Sort the content in your content row: Content - content type - video clips - playlist - select playlist. Save order.
Continue editing your content row as usual, with any title and any design. Save.
