Highlights Editor
Pick the best moments from your videos, put them in the order you want, watch the result right away, and publish it as a new video.
No downloading, no editing software, no waiting.

How to use it
- Go to content - highlights editor
- Pick a video: Choose from the platform's videos, existing clips, or video files you have uploaded.
- Mark the moment: Set where it starts and ends, the same way you already make clips. Or add the whole video in one click.
- Build the reel: Add as many moments as you like, from as many videos as you like. Drag them into order. Click one to adjust it.
- Watch, then publish: Press Preview to watch the finished reel. Your reel is saved as a draft so you can go back and edit it as many times you want. Happy with it? Create it as a new video, or use it to replace an existing one.
The editor only remembers your choices. The videos themselves are never copied or converted until you publish.

What it does
- Combines moments from different videos into one
A goal from the match, a quote from the interview, the celebration from another camera. All in one reel.
- Shows you the result immediately
Every change can be watched within seconds. You can try as many versions as you want, for free, before you publish anything.
- Publishes like any other video
The reel becomes a normal video on the platform, with its own page, thumbnail and statistics. You can also swap it in for an existing video, so links and history stay the same.
- Saves your work
A reel is a project you can come back to. Leave it as a draft, edit it later, publish when it is ready.
- Uses what is already on the platform
Nothing needs to be downloaded or uploaded again. The original videos stay untouched.
What it doesn't do
It is a tool for cutting and combining, not a full video editor. That is what keeps it fast and free to use.
- No text, logos, music or transitions
Moments are placed one after the other with a straight cut between them. Nothing is drawn on top of the video.
- Cuts are not frame exact at the start
A moment begins at the nearest clean cut point after where you marked it, which can be a few seconds later. The end is exactly where you put it. Give the start a little room.
- It can't cut a stream that is live
It works on finished videos. For moments during a live broadcast, use Clips in the broadcast view as today.
- Uploaded files must be standard MP4 videos
Everything recorded or uploaded through StayLive works. Some phone recordings use a newer format and need to be exported as a standard MP4 first; the editor tells you when that is the case.
- No download button yet
The result is a video on the platform. Downloading the reel as a file is planned.
Highlights or clips?
Both cut moments out of videos. Here is when to reach for which.
