# Box navigation

A box navigation is a component you can add to make it easier for your viewers to navigate between the content on your platform. A box navigation can link to either a subpage within your platform or an external website.

If you have a platform with different topics or leagues and you want to have a subpage highlighted for a certain content a box navigation is a good component to use.

# Create a box navigation
*  Go to **platform - manage platform**
* Select the subpage you would like to add the box navigation and press **add new section**. You will find the box navigation in **information** tab.

The new component will be listed at the bottom left and you can click and drag to change its placement amongst the other components on the page.

# Edit/style a box navigation
* In the **boxes** section you add your boxes, by default one box is added. Press **manage boxes** to add more boxes and do some styling to the box.
* **The path** is where you enter where you would like to link the box. It could be a subpage on your platform, written with a _/_ followed with the path of the subpage._ For example /subscribe_. You can also link to an external website by entering the url.
* You can also upload a **background image** to the button and add an **overlay color**.
* In the **content tab** you can add a text to the button or a logotype.

Press **Save** once you are finished with adding the boxes.

# General styling
To the boxes you are able to change some general styling, for example changing the size of the boxes, logotypes or the text.
