Affiliate Groups
Use affiliate groups to gather user preferences during the purchase process for both packages and subscriptions.
Affiliate groups can be managed by platform owners and platform administators.
If you have a sport platform with different clubs, you can create an affiliate group for users to be able to support their favorite club.
If a player/lecturer/promoter will promote your subscription they can have their own selection for the buyers to chose. The selection can be hidden with the direct link mode.
Use the group to ask your buyers what they came here to see or what they are interested in. For example a health platform it could be "Yoga, Mediation etc".
Use the group as a selection where you can ask any questions you would like to your buyers to answer and gather that information.
Normal Mode (default): The options are visible for the customers. Users can select preferences during checkout. Plus, they can update these choices later under 'Account Settings' in the partner platform.
Direct Links Only Mode: Selections are hidden and can only be registered through specific links. This mode ensures precise promotions and targeted affiliate campaigns without any visible prompts to the user. Users cannot change their choice using this mode.
These modes assist in revenue distribution, campaign targeting, and shaping promotional strategies based on user intent. Here, you can manage these groups, toggle between modes, and view data on both initial and recurring transactions.
In this section you can update titles, descriptions and connect relevant products. Customize options, set your preferred order, and adjust the default choice to best fit your objectives.
Here you can change the title and description of your affiliate group. This is what is shown in the checkout of your product.
Here you can set a internal note about the usage of the group. This is not visible on the platform.
For example: to the favorit team selection at Staylive or group for the Staylive campaign.
Here you select what products, subscription or package, this affiliate group should be added to. It could me one or multiple.
In this section you add the options to choose from, when buying one of the connected products.
You can write a internal note for each option.
When the options are added you get an overview where you can edit or archive them. If you archive an option it will not be visible or selectable for users in the checkout anymore. You can bring that option back by clicking edit in the section archived options and select what option to bring back.
To each affiliate group you can set a default option, which means that this option is pre selected when entering a product from the platform (when the group is in normal mode). if you don't select an option in the dropdown this is the option that will be added to the purchase.
Don't forget to save your settings in the bottom left corner.
Gain insight into your audience's preferences. In this section you will see the amount of selections that have been made. In the left section you get an totalt amount of transactions and selected options. This shows every payment that has been made by you subscribers/package buyers.
In the section to the right you will see the first purchase your users made and what option they selected. This tracks all new purchases.
You can use the filter to see the analytics from a specific product or filter the selection between different dates.
In the links tab you can share direct links to the checkout with a pre selected option to a specific product.
When the group is set to "normal mode" the link you share will have the option pre selected for the user, but they will be able to change to a different option.
When a group is set to "direct links mode" the options in the checkout will be hidden for the buyer but its purchase will be linked to the option you copied in the link.
Once an option is set via these links, users cannot modify it. Ideal for precise promotions and affiliate campaigns.
You are able to connect a voucher to a specific link selection in the group. This if you would like to offer a discount to the ones getting a link. The voucher is predefined in the checkout which means that the customers don't have to add it themselves.
Create the voucher in dashboard, voucher & discounts - vouchers. Read more of how to create a voucher here: Vouchers
Copy the voucher for example demo50.
Go to the link tab i the affiliate group. Copy the link you would like to add the voucher to. Paste the link into a web browser or a document.
In the end of the link/url add &voucher=demo50 (so &voucher=your voucher code).
Enter the new created link/url. The voucher is automatically added in the checkout and the customer can continue with its purchase.
You can share this new link/URL freely with those who need access to it.

Create an affiliate group
Go to marketing & communication in the dashboard.
Press create affiliate group.
Set a name/title: A question or title displayed to users together with the description and options at checkout.
Set a description: Displayed together with the title and options at checkout. A brief clarification or elaboration on the title, helping users making their choice.
The titel and description is hidden on the platform if the affiliate group is in direct links only mode.
Edit an affiliate group
