# About the platform editor

The platform editor is a visual tool in the Staylive dashboard that helps you design and structure your platform in a simple yet flexible way. 

To use the platform editor:

* Go to https://dashboard.staylive.tv
* Click on "Platform - manage platform".

| The platform editor can only be manages by platform owners and platform administrators.

## Pages
Your platform consists of several pages. You can create and edit these pages from the platform editor. When you open the platform editor you can see all pages you have in your platform.

## Sections
A page typically has one or more sections using different types of components. The platform editor makes it easy to add and arrange these sections on your page.

There are several components types to choose from, each with its own editor which you use to administrate its content and behavior.

## Preview
When you change the content of a page you get an instant preview of how the page will look in the browser by clicking **Save** in the bottom left corner.

## Mobile preview
You can also see preview how the page you're editing will look on a mobile device. Press the icon in the top right corner of the page.

## Publishing
When you're happy with the changes you've made, Click **Publish** to make publish the page and make it accessible to the public.  

If you want to undo all changes that was made from the last publish you can press "discard".
